The ucpn provides a wide range of services to its consumers, including residential, educational, day treatment, and clinical. The Health Care Financial Services Department (HCFS) is responsible for the billing and collection for services rendered by ucpn. As part of these billing and collection functions, the HCFS Department can assist consumers in determining if specific clinical services are covered, or not covered, under their health insurance plan(s)*. ucpn accepts most insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid, and most commercial plans. However, ucpn does not participate in any HMO plans, including those under Medicare and Medicaid. If you have questions about your insurance coverage being accepted by ucpn, or whether specific services will be paid for by your health insurance coverage, please contact the Director of HCFS at extension 200. *Reimbursement eligibility for other programs should be discussed with the Social Work Department. |
