Independent Skills Trainer-TBI

ILST must meet the following qualifications and be a: (A) (1) Registered Occupational Therapist; (2) Registered Physical Therapist; (3) Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist; (4) Registered Professional Nurse; (5) Certified Special Education Teacher; (6) Certified Rehabilitation Counselor; (7) Master of Social Work; or (8) Master or Doctorate of Psychology. These individuals must have, at a minimum, one (1) year of experience completing functionally based assessments, developing a comprehensive treatment plan and teaching individuals with disabilities to be more functionally independent; OR (B) An individual with a Bachelor’s degree and two (2) years of similar experience; OR (C) An individual with an Associates degree and three (3) years of similar experience; OR (D) An individual with a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) and four (4) years of similar experience.

Secretary - Medicaid Service Coordination

HS Diploma / GED required. Some college preferred or graduation from a approved secretarial school; Minimum one-year experience in an office or school setting; Computer, typing & phone skills; ability to exercise independent judgment.

Physical Therapist

Required: Minimum Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy, New York State License as a Physical Therapist Preferred: Experience working with developmental disability population

Payroll Assistant

Required: High school diploma and related business experience, previous ADP or payroll experiences a must, knowledge of Microsoft Excel, excellent mathematic and communication skills.

Bilingual (Spanish) Teacher’s Aide - Children’s Learning Center

Required: High School Diploma, experience/training with children with multiple handicaps, Fluency in Spanish. Preferred: College credit in education, psychology, and childcare or related job experience

BAYVILLE RESIDENCE

Our progressive, 48-bed facility in Bayville.

LPN (11:00pm-7:00am)/Monday-Friday

Valid New York State LPN License. CPR Certification. Experience working with MR/DD population preferred.

Medical Aide - Nursing (11:30pm-7:30am)/Thursday-Monday

Requirements: High School Diploma, Minimum one year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, AMAP certification. Decscription:Administer medications and treatments as per Physician’s orders; take vital signs, as directed/indicated on the MAR; inventory and stock medication carts and nursing office, as directed.

Direct Support Professionals - Full Time, Part Time, or Per Diem

Various hours/schedules; High School Diploma; clean, valid NYS Driver License; experience working with individuals with Developmentally Disabled population; AMAP certification preferred.

 

OTHER RESIDENCES

Work at one of our 20 residences in Nassau County.

LPN-Residential-16 Hours Per Week

Graduate of a New York State accredited Nursing Program, New York State Nursing License as a Licensed Practical Nurse, CPR trained, One-year experience in treating individuals with Developmental Disabilities, Valid New York State Driver’s License required.

Residence Manager - Residential

Bachelors Degree in Human Service field and supervisory experience in program-serving individuals with developmental disabilities required. Valid, clean NYS drivers license required.

Assistant Residence Manager - Residential

Associates Degree required in Human Service field. Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and valid NYS driver's license required.

Direct Support Professionals - Part-Time or Per Diem

Various hours / Flex schedule, HS Diploma/ GED required. Clean, valid NYS drivers license. Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.

 

OCEANSIDE DAY HABILITATION

Join our community outreach program where trained and qualified individuals with developmental disabilities provide local non profit businesses with community service.

Assistant Community Coach - Oceanside Day Hab

HS diploma/ GED required. Associate’s Degree preferred. NYS drivers license a must. Ideal candidate must experience with individuals with developmental disabilities. AMAP certification preferred.
