The ucpn 57th Annual Forget-Me-Not Ball

The 57th ucpn Forget-Me-Not-Ball:
A chance to dance, dine and celebrate

The 57th Forget-Me-Not-Ball allowed us a chance to once again honor those who touch the lives of individuals with disabilities at ucpn. On November 7th, nearly 300 guests came together at the beautiful Inn at New Hyde Park to dance, dine and celebrate.

The festivities included a wonderful performance by ucpn’s singing group Creation.  David Tindal & Chris Wawzronek shared their talent and performed a selection of songs that brought a huge round of applause from all in attendance.

After an official welcome from the Ball Chairmen, Tony Galano, Joe Koch and Gregg Raffa, it was time to present awards to the distinguished honorees; Senator Dean Skelos and Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg were presented with The Harold J.Greenberg Torch of Leadership Award. Dr. Arthur Risbrook was presented with the Dr. Jack & Kelly McElwain Humanitarian Award.

The ucpn is grateful to all the honorees, to Tony Galano, Joe Koch and Gregg Raffa, the Committee chairs, the Ball Committee, the guests, the people who participated in the journal and all who contributed to the success and enjoyment of this annual event.  The 2010 Forget-Me-Not Ball will be held on November 6th at the Inn in New Hyde Park.  Make sure to mark your calendars!
