Council President’s message, 12-08

Our very successful Fashion Fantasy fundraiser took place on October 7th at the Crest Hollow Country Club.  We had a biggest group of attendees in recent years and the evening was a fantastic success in terms of raising funds for ucpn and for renewing old friendships and establishing new ones!  My sincere thanks to all who worked so hard to make this event so wonderful!

Our upcoming "Knight to Remember" event will take place on December 7th from 4:30 until 7:30 at the Marriott in Uniondale.  This is a perfect opportunity for you Moms or Grandmas to spend a fun evening with the special young man in your life.  The price for this event has actually been lowered – now that is something different!  We want everyone to be able to come and experience the fun of this unique event so, for under $100 you can enjoy this special time with your son or grandson.  Hope you will call today to reserve a spot or a table with friends.  

As we come into the holiday season and you take pause to reflect on the blessings in your life, I encourage everyone to reach out to friends and neighbors and invite them to join as Council members and to support ucpn as a way to give back and help others in need.
