"A community can be judged by how they treat the neediest in their group. We should be proud of how we've addressed the needs of people with disabilities in our community."

Auxiliaries

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

The United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (ucpn) has a vibrant group of volunteers. The Council of Auxiliaries has local auxiliaries in different communities of Nassau County. These are comprised of a dedicated group of volunteers whose mission is to educate the public about our Treatment and Rehabilitation Center and the population that we serve. We combine this with exciting events that raise much needed funds for the programs that are offered.

Please check out these events listed on our Auxiliary Calendar. Perhaps you would like to attend one of our fundraisers, such as the Plainedge Auxiliary’s Chinese Auction, the Junior League’s Valentine Dinner Dance or North Valley Stream’s Night at the Races.

If you are interested in making new friends and contributing your talents and time to a deserving organization, we would love to have you join us for one of our monthly meetings.

For more information, or to find out what auxiliary is in your area, you can call the Council Office at (516) 378-2000, ext. 220. Thank you for your interest in ucpn.
